Gold x Shy!Reader: Pocky Game

I sighed as I plopped on my couch with my beloved pocky. I glared at the black haired male in front of me.

"Come on (y/n), just one!" Gold begged for what seemed like the tenth time today. He gave me an adorable puppy dog face.

"N-No Gold," I refused to give in to his puppy dog face. I crossed my arms and turned away from him.

"Please, please, please…" Gold said repetitively, poking my arm.

"G-Gold please stop that," I stuttered; however, being Gold, he denied my request and kept poking me.

"Not until you give me one," Gold demanded.

I sighed and decided to ignore him until he left. He did not fulfill my wish and he kept poking me and trying to annoy me. Finally he gave up and sat criss-cross on the floor. For a full five minutes the room was silent until Gold decided to break it.

"What is this, the silent treatment?" Gold asked, still trying to get my pocky. I, once again, decided to ignore him and chomped on a pocky stick.

"You do know that it is rude to ignore people," Gold stated seriously. I frowned and looked at him intently.  

"W-What do you want, Gold," I inquired, exasperated.

"I want some pocky!" Gold replied with a toothy grin, reaching his arm out. I rolled my eyes and finally gave in. As Gold devoured his pocky, I went to my own, eating it contently.

I sat there on the couch, enjoying my pocky time until it was disturbed. Disturbed by who you ask, none other than Gold. I felt weight on the other side of my pocky stick before I saw Gold, eating away the other side. Soon, our lips met in an unexpected kiss. My eyes widened as my face burned a whole new shade of red. I quickly pushed Gold off, shrieking in the process. I scurried away from him and I covered my lips with my hands.

"W-What was t-that for?" My embarrassed voice asked, muffled by my hands. Gold smirked before walking to me and pinning me to the wall.

"What, I can't kiss my favorite person," Gold said, kissing my forehead. "Besides the kiss was part of the pocky game!"

My round (e/c) orbs widened. Pocky game!? Why did he want to play that with me of all people!?

"G-Gold, why me," I tilted my head in confusion of the boy's motivations. Gold gave a gentle smile before answering.

"Well it's because I like you, silly!" 

A blush found its way on my (s/c) face and my knees became jello. Gold liked me? It's not that I didn't like him back, it's just a shock that Gold liked me. I saw Gold's hopeful smile fade away into a frown.

"I should have known she wouldn't like me back," Gold murmured before standing up straight, getting ready to walk away.

"I-I like you t-too," I grabbed his sleeve to stop him. Gold looked at me shocked but his shocked expression soon turned into a happy one. Gold leaned done and cupped my face gently.

Our lips reunited into another kiss. This one more passionate than the first. I wrapped my arms around Gold's neck as he pulled me closer to his body, leaving no room between us. His arm rested on my waist while the other gripped my (h/c) locks. I felt his tongue run against my bottom lip. I parted my lips just enough. I felt his tongue play with mine. I moaned into the kiss making Gold growl in approval. However the dreaded lack of air tore us apart. I pulled away panting.

"G-Gold," I say, when the gold eyed boy pulled me into his chest.

"Yes?" Gold pulled my closer.

"I-I love you," I said, clutching the fabric of his shirt. Gold's cheeks heated up before it was replaced by a loving smile.

"I love you, too," he smiled, and added. "We should play the pocky game later. Don't you think so?" 

I looked up to meet his eyes and tilted my head with a smile.

"Yeah, I'd really like that."
